Today we will learn how to make a battery powered light fixture. The supplies you will need are:

• 2 AA batteries (3v)
• High Power Star Shaped RGB LED
• 2 alligator clips
• Battery pack for 2 AA batteries

If this is an RGB LED, you would have one positive connection and one negative connection for each color. This is a picture of the circuit:

Connect the positive connection to the positive and the negative to the negative. You would want to put a translucent cover over the LED before turning it on because it could hurt your eyes. Here are some examples of good translucent covers.

The image below is a magnetic toy that you can put together into a dome shape. You can put the LED inside of it.

You can put the LED into anything that is translucent. Just make sure you are not putting it in liquids.
